This occasion calls for your usual recap of the year. Well, 2010 as a whole sucked. I'm not exagerating, really. But there are still lots of moments worth remembering.

So I'll make a little list of my ten 2010 highlights, in chronological order. Don't worry, it's short. :)

1. Discovering two of my new favorite books, "A Bag Of Marbles" (Joseph Joffo) and "My Sweet Orange Tree" (José Mauro de Vasconcelos) - read in French.

2. Organizing successful fundraisers, like this environmental one and this social one.

3. My last moments with the high school band.

★

4. Finishing horrible things forever (e.g. high school and such).

★

5. The Uplands.

6. Going to the club for the first time.

7. Drinking (for real) for the first time.

★

8. That day in Ottawa (Turkish delights, the Canadian Museum of Nature, shopping and supper with friends). 

9. That day in Sherbrooke (alone eating good food for the first time in centuries).

10. That night alone with rain and hot chocolate and miniature pies and house plans and Becoming Jane.

★

My ultimate 2010 highlight : the month I spent at Bishop's University this summer perfecting my english. 

2010 is the year where I have graduated high school and started University. It is the year where I have met my fantasies and my disillusions alike. It is the year where I have discovered, first Blogger, then Tumblr, 8tracks and Last.fm (to list only my favorites).

And guess what?

2010 IS OVER.

About time. 

Now I know there are a million ways 2011 could be worse, but what's for sure, I am going to make 2011 a billion times better than 2010.

And I wish the same to you.

Please look, constantly, for ways to be happy.

Open your eyes to amazing new discoveries.

Find ways to go on magical adventures.

Magic is everywhere. Now go and find it. I'm heading straight there as we speak.
